Origin of the "Supa Dupa" Flow



When the homey Drake started using lines such as "Faded off the brown...Nino" and "Past the Kerney Thomas to these hoes..Mirwicles(miracles)" other rappers took this rap style and ran with it, some also abused it. Many music listeners I've met and or read comments on youtube and music sites say that everyone got that style from Drake. I've tried to explain to the people I've heard say that, that it all started with the homey Big Sean from G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam. The Detroit native put out a freestyle a couple years ago which later became a song called "Supa Dupa" which clearly originated this style of rap. I came across an article from a week or so ago about an interview Drake did for ALLHIPHOP.COM stating that he did in fact get the flow from Big Sean but isn't interested in using it anymore because of its overuse in the music industry.
